Katie Aijian
Co - Founder
Director of Operations
Katie completed a M.A. in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2020. She has also trained extensively with the Enneagram. She has a passion for helping people become mental health conscious and trauma aware.
Ben Aijian
Co - Founder
Executive Director
Ben is currently pursuing a M.A. in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary, after which he will pursue a M.S. in Marriage & Family Therapy. He is a trained StrengthsFinder Coach. His passion is helping people realize their full potential and develop a plan to move towards it.
Josie Martin
Director of Children’s Programming
Josie has many years of experience facilitating children’s education, discipleship, and mentorship programs throughout the world. She has been in full time ministry for over twenty years in advocacy, a majority of which has been cross-cultural experience (in Brazil, Thailand, New Zealand, Zimbabwe and Mozambique). She has experience working with at-risk youth, third-culture kids, and teens/young adults in seasons of transition. She is responsible for our child care & debriefing.
Tonya Stanfield
Spiritural Director
Tonya Stanfield has 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, is a trained Spiritual Director, skills coach and sought after lecturer within the realms of ministry development, anti-trafficking and Christian leadership at an undergraduate and Masters level. She founded an NPO called S-Cape that is a government- recognized safe house for victims of human trafficking in South Africa. She adores wading with others into the deep places of faith, asking the hard questions, and challenging toward a fuller vision and experience of God.
Josh Parpatt
Has several years of Hotel Management experience. In addition he is an experienced contractor and landscaper.
Wouter De Wit
Chief Financial Officer
Holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business (GSB-UCT) with a specialisation in Entrepreneurship. He has owned and managed organisations that are committed to business as a means for social change for the past 20 years.
Christina Quist
Trauma Specialist
Christina Quist has been working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma for more than a decade. She holds a masters degree in Spiritual Formation, and its intersection with neurobiology, and is pursuing PhD exploring the intersection of trauma and theology. She has a particular passion to see women who have been subjected to trauma receive healing, and learn to integrate spiritual and theological practices that help them seize their full God given potential. She has founded a ministry called Havilah Collective that trains and empowers women by giving them vocational skills in massage therapy. She also holds a Certificate in Narrative Informed Trauma Care.
Elnie Ottow
Elnie has served in full time ministry service since 2010. Originally from the Netherlands yet born in Kenya, he has a heart for the African continent and specifically those that care for others. He has served facilitating community events, led international volunteer work and served in mentorship.
